Your host (a road, gravel, and mountain biking enthusiast) is happy to help plan routes, suggest hidden stops (cideries, beaches, farm stands), and connect you to local cycling culture.

Hikers and walkers can get custom trail suggestions—from forest circuits to panoramic ridge walks. Your hostess knows the island inside out and backwards, and so feel free to ask for help with planning your adventure!

If you want to get out on the water, feel free to inquire about possibilities—there are so many! Your hostess has explore the coasts and islands of Howe Sound by packraft, boat, and sea kayak—happy to share tips and secrets!

  • Families are warmly welcomed at the BowInn. Your hostess, Saskia, has a 12 year old girl and 7 year old boy, who are both in school on the island. They consider themselves to be co-hosts, and will be happy to introduce you to the space and the island and all that they love about it.

We have so much STUFF upstairs, so just ask if you need something kid-related. You don’t have to worry about making noise here! We welcome kids and understand how to make your trip easier. There are some things already in the suite for kids, but we can provide more toys, books, bikes, and gear for any age — including a pack ’n play and bulky baby essentials to save you the hassle of bringing them from the mainland.

  • We don’t want you to leave your furry friend/s behind if you want to bring them along for the adventure—and there are plenty to be had!

Dogs are also welcome (small pet cleaning fee applies). A small, friendly dog lives upstairs, so your pup should be comfortable with other dogs. We’re happy to provide a dog bed and bowl; please bring your own towels.
